Günlerden sonra bugün çıkmadım dışarı, o kadar çok işim vardı ki yarım kalmış, hesapta onları tamamlayacaktım, aslında hepsini tamamlayamasamda aklımda bugünlük programımda olmayan ama yinede yapmak isteyeceğim bir şeyi tamamlayabilmiş olmaktan dolayı kendimi iyi hissettim.
Şu resimde görülen köşe dolabı var ya, içi tıkış tıkış malzeme doluydu... zımpara, boyalar, yarrdımcı malzemeler ve türlü çer çöp... onu boşalttım, malzemeleri düzenledim, ayıkladım bitenini, kullanılmaz durumda olanını... Benim haftalardır yapmaktan kaçındığım, yok saydığım işlerden biriydi bu... Bu dolabın dışta görülecek kısımlarını beyaza boyamıştım zaten orta sehpamın kurumasını beklediğim zamanlarda...
After many days I didn't go out today. I had so many things to complete, I thought I will do them. Well actually although I didn't complete them all, I felt well because I did something that I wanted to do but was not in my schedule for today. The corner cubboard in the picture had so many things stuffed inside... sanding machine, paint, aiding material and other bits and pieces... I emptied it all, I sorted out everything that was out of use... This was a core that I was ignoring for weeks...I had already painted the outside of this cubboard while I was waiting for my coffee tables paint coats to dry...
Meşhur İkea kumaşım lada yapmıştım bir perde... İkea dan almıştım buna uygun bir perde askısı... onu taktım... Seramikler dış cephe yalıtımı yapılırken battıydı geçen kış... yaz gelsin değiştiririm diyordum ama şu an hiç istemiyorum bu zahmeti hayatımda... ama bu pis görüntülü seramiklerle nasıl yaşanır ki? Bu düzenlemeyi yapana kadar fark etmemiştim bu durumu... tam her şey istediğim gibi oldu derken öyle bir gözüme battı ki bu durum. Birde yetmiyor gibi hayatımın seramiğini gördüm... Sanki altın... en azından pahada öyle...
I had made a curtain out of my famous İkea fabric... I'd bought a curtain pole from İkea... I assembled that... My tiles have many stains on them because of the facade insulation work from this winter... I was saying next summer, but now I don''t want to go through all that trouble... But how can one live with these stained tiles? I wasn't aware of this fact untill I made this arrangement... Just as I thought everything was to my taste this stood out a lot. And as if all of this is not enough I saw the the tile of my life... like gold... at least the price of it is so...
