Etsy'de satışa çıkardığım takılarıma güzel bir sunum kazandırmak amacıyla yaptım ve çok sevdim...

Baykuşlu telefon kılıfı - Phone case with owl

Televizyon seyrederken gözüm takıldı mı iplere... Ne yapacağımı bile bilmiyorum... Başlarsam çıkar bir şey, biliyorum... dedim ve yaptım iki baykuş... Sonra bu baykuşları ne yapsam acaba? diye düşündüm... Gün geldi, baykuşlar yerlerini buldu...

I was watching TV and my eyes got stuck on the yarn nearby... I don't know what I want to do with it... If I get going something will come out, I know... Afterwards I was thinking what I will do with the owls... One day the owls found their places...

Pembe ve Romatik- Pink and Romantic

Bu yaz yeğenim benden nişanlısı (şimdi karısı oldu) için bir şey dikmemi istemişti. Bir fotoğraf makinesi kılıfı... Yaz boyu, ne zaman atölyeme insem hep aklıma geldi bu istek ama ne yapacağıma bir türlü karar veremedim. Geçenlerde ne yapsam acaba diye düşünürken birden bu kılıfı yapmak istedim.  Amacım pembe ve romantik bir kılıf dikmekti... ve sonuç budur... "Pembe ve romantik diyorsun da bu NE?" diye sormayın sakın, ben de bilmiyorum... Ama biraz da kendimi savunayım; evlerden biri Pembe(msi), ağaç kalp şeklinde= romantik... Herhalde böyle düşündüm yaparken... Yoksa renk ve romantizm algımda bir deformasyon yok... yoktur... olamaz... yoksa olabilir mi?... (sonuca bakınca) var...  Artık yenisini yapacağım, ne yapayım... Zaten biraz fazla büyük oldu....

This summer my nephew asked me to sew something for his fiancee(now his wife). A camera case... All summer long whenever I went down to my workshop I remembered this wish but I couldn't decide what it will look like... Recently I was trying to decide what to make and suddenly I wanted to make this case. My aim was to make a Pink and Romatic case... and the result is this. Please don't ask "You said Pink and Romantic, so what's this?", I have no answer to this... Well, to defend my self; one of the houses is pink(ish), the tree is in the shape of a heart=romantic... While sewing it, I probably was thinking this...  I don't have any deformation in my color and romaticism perception... I don't think I have... No way.... or is this posiible?... (looking at the end result) I do have... Well I'm going to sew a new one... it was far too big anyway...

Hani kendime yazın kitap ayracı modunda kartvizit yapmıştım ya... Onları hiç kullanamadım.... Çantama attıklarım çantamın karmaşası içerisinde telef oldu, ne zaman ihtiyacım olsa yanımda olamadılar.. Bende bir kartvizit kesesi diktim kendime ve şimdilik çantamın içinde sağlam duruyorlar...

You know, in the summer I made myself a name card that could be used as a bookmark... I couldn't use them at all... The ones that I dipped into my handbag were wasted in the chaos of the bag and whenever I needed one I didn't have any... So I sew myself a name card case and now they are safe in my hand bag.  

Keçe kılıf, kalpli - Felt case, with heart

Bugün dışarıda işlerim vardı ama canım çıkmayı istemediği için hepsini erteledim. Dün gece geç saatlere kadar internette dolandım, epeydir çok ta bakamamıştım, blogları gezdim... özlemişim... Sonra bulduğum bir yarışmaya katılasım geldi... "Bumerang"'ın yarışmasına denk geldim. Aslında bu yarışmaya daha önce "Turuncu Odanın" blogunda denk gelmiş hatta oylamış ama kendim katılmak adına ilgilenmemiştim. Gece'nin bir yarısı  yazarkafe'ye bir şeyler yazmak için girdiğimde dikkatimi çekti ve formu doldurarak yolladım. Aslında başvurduğum kategori yerine başka bir kategoriden katılımım onaylandı. "En çalışkan blog" kategorisi. Bu yaz ki durumumu saymazsak çalışkan sayılırım, değil mi? Bilmiyorum sistemin nasıl işlediğini ama dışarıdan insanlar oylayabiliyor, her ne kadar ben açıklamasından bunu anlamıyorsam da... Today I had things to do outside but I didn't want to leave home so I delayed them all. Yesterday night I surfed the internet till late, I visited blogs I hadn't been able to have a look at since long... I realized that I'de missed them... Then I felt a desire to enter a competition that came up my way...  I came across the "Bumerang" competion... Actually I'de seen this one in "Turuncu oda"'s blog, even voted for her but hadn't cared about entering my self. Yesterday late at night when I went to "yazarkafe" to submit a post it caught my eye so I filled in the form and sent it. Actually I recieved an aproval for my application from another category instead of the one that I'de applied for.  "The most hard working blog". If we skip this summer I could be called hard working, don't you think so? I don't know how the system works  but despite my understanding of the explanation I see that every body can vote.... Let's get to what I will share with you guys today... A felt Ipad case or bag... Grey - red - white... I was so badly wanting to make something in these colors, this came up... What do you think of it?
