Bahar melekleri - Spring angels

Gitmeden önce yapmam gereken bir sürü işim var ama ben ne yapıyorum? Sürekli yapmam gerekenleri erteleyip atölyede çalışıyorum... Dün Nilgün arkadaşım benim daha önce yaptığım melekleri görüp çok beğendi, ne kadar ısrar ettiysem de onları almasını sağlayamadım... bende sinsice ona bu meleklerin bir benzerini yaptım, bunlar daha güzel oldu diğerlerinden, iyi ki almamış diğerlerini...

I have loads to do before I go, but what am I doing? I'm continiously delaying what I need to do to work in my studio... Yesterday my friend Nilgün was around and she saw and loved the angels that I'de made previously... Although I insisted her to take them I couldn't convince her to do so... So I was sneaky and made her a similar version that turned out to look better then the others, so I'm glad that she didn't take the other ones...

Nasıl da tatlıyım - How cute am I

Sevgili blog arkadaşım Fatoş kendi blogunda bir çekiliş düzenlemiş, bende bu çekilişe katılmıştım bir yorum bırakarak. Aslında çekilişlerle pek aram yoktur, nasılsa bana çıkmaz diye düşündüğümden katılmam da. Fakat bu meleği görünce çok beğenip katılayım bari diye düşünmüştüm, katıldım ama aynı anda da unuttum (bana çıkmaz ya) Epeydir de kendi bloguma girmediğim için diğer takip ettiğim bloglarda ne var ne yok haberdar da değildim. Fatoş ta ne yapsın facebook tan benim sayfamı bulmuş, mesaj atmış... o kadar şaşırdım ki haberi alınca... Bu arada posta dağıtım grevdeymiş gelmez 1 haftadan önce dediler ama evvelki gün tam evden çıkmaz üzereyken geldi bebeğim... Nasıl güzel, nasıl şirin bir şey bu anlatamam... Günlerdir elimde bebek ona bir yer bulmaya çalıştım durdum. Hemde resmini çekmek istiyordum ama hava pek karanlık şu sıralar. En sonunda bugün mine kursumdan çıkı eve geldiğimde resim çekmeye müsait bir aydınlık beklemekten vazgeçtim ve bebeğin hem dışarıda hemde içeride bir kaç resmini çektim. Şu bebeğin güzelliğine bir bakın hele...

My dear blog friend Fatoş had organized a draw in her blog and I'de entered this draw with a comment. Actually I'm not in good terms with draws, I don't enter them as I tend to think that I'll not be the one to win. But when I saw this angel, I loved it and thought that I'de have a go so I entered it and at the same time I forgot it (as I'm not the one to win...) For some time I hadn't entered my blog and so I was not aware of what was going on in the other blogs that I follow. So Fatoş had to find my facebook page and send me a message informing me... I was so surprised when I heard this... Last week I was told that  the post office distrubuters were on strike so I wouldn't be able to recieve it before a week but the day before just as I was leaving the house my doll came... It's so beautiful, so cute... For days now I tried to find a place for it. At the same time I wanted to picture it but the weather is very gloomy these days. In the end today after returning back from my enamaling course I discarded waiting for a bright and sunny weather and took pictures of my doll both inside and outside the house. Oh, can you see the beauty of it....

Sevgili Fatoş, bana hem çok güzel hemde benim için çok anlamlı bir armağan verdin. Doğanın kanunudur verdiğin,paylaştığın her şeyin sana da bir dönüşünün olması. Ben bu meleğin bana olduğu kadar sana da uğur getireceğine, hayatı daha da keyifli ve umutlu kılacağına inanıyorum. Sana da emeğini, güzelliğini paylaştığın için çok teşekkür ediyorum.

Dear Fatoş, you have given me a beautiful and a meaningful present. It's the law of nature that whatever you give or share will return back to you in some way. Meleklerle yaşamak - Living with angels

Daha önceki bir yazımda demiştim ya melekleri çok severim diye.  İşte dün beni evden çıkartmayan projem buydu. Bir çanta dikerken bir anda bunları yapmak aklıma düşünce hemen işe koyuldum ve bitirdim. Gece çektiğim resimleri beğenmiyorum, o yüzden bunları dün paylaşamamıştım burada... Gündüzü, havanın aydınlık ve güneşli olduğu bir zamanı bekledim resmini çekmek için. Resim çekmek ne kadar zor bir şey... Bir türlü nereye koysam da resmini çeksem bilemedim, o yüzdendir ki aklıma gelen her türlü yerde çektiğim resimleri paylaşıyorum. Çok sevimli geldiler bana... Size???

I'de already told you about my love for angels in one of my earlier posts. This is the project that made me stay at home yesterday. While I was sewing a bag this came into my mind and I buckled down to work and finished these. I don't like pictures taken in the night time,  that was the reason I didn't share them yesterday... I waited for the daytime , the time when it's full of light and sunny in order to picture them. Taking a photo is such a struggle... I couldn't decide where I should locate them for the picture so I'm sharing the photos that I took in every spot that I could think of. I think that they look cute... And you???

Bütün gün bir koşuşturma hali içerisindeydim. Oğlumu derse bıraktım, alışveriş yaptım, arkadaşım geldi bahçede çay içtim, misafirliğe gittim (misafirlik sayılmaz aslında, yan komşumun misafirleri vardı onlarla oturdum ama misafirliğe gittim diyince koşuşturma konseptine daha çok uyuyor), çevirimi bitirdim (Türkçeden İngilizceye çevirdim bu kez :)), babamların bir arkadaşını otobüs terminalinden aldım, oğlumu sinemadan aldım, akşam yemeğe gittim... bu arada da bu çantanın son işlerini bitirip fotoğraflarını çekmeyi başardım (beraberinde dün paylaştığım çantanın fotoğraflarını yeniden çekerek blogdaki resimlerini yeniledim...Bayağı bir koşuşturma değilmi bir gün için?

Today I was in a state of running around. I drove my son for a lesson, did some shopping, my friend came I drank tea with her in garden, I visited a friend (actually it was my neighbour who had some guests and I went to be with them, but saying I visited a friend is more appropriate for my running around concept), I finished my translation (This time I did it from Turkish to English :)), I collected my dads friend from the bus terminal, collected my son from the movies, went outside for a dinner...meanwhile I managed to finish the remaining work for this bag and took its photo's (I took pictures of the bag that I shared yesterday and renewed its blog pictures)... It's a run around for one day isn't it?

Karlar düşer - Snow is falling

Bu sefer ki kar çok fena. Sabah bir işim vardı dışarı çıktım, çıkmışken de 1-2 parça alışveriş yaptım marketten. Ortalama 3 saat sonra eve geldiğimde karşılaştığım manzara şuydu. Kar öyle bir eğimle yağmış ki sokak kapısı tamamen karla kaplanmış, elimdekileri de bırakacak yer bulamayınca mecbur kapıyı açtım ve açmamla beraber o kardan duvar, evin antresine yıkıldı. Kürekle evden kar atmak zorunda kaldım. Sonra gün boyu kapıyı açıp karın birikmesine izin vermeden dışarı ittirdim mecburen. Sanırım ben kar'la ilgili söylendikçe, kar benimle olan ilişkisinde tacizini arttırdı :)).... ama elimde değil, ööööö geldi.
Bugün sizinle yeni yaptığım cüzdanımı paylaşmak istiyorum. Eeee birkaç gün önceki yazımda o kadar çok meleklerden bahsettim ki, cüzdan da böyle çıktı sonuçta....

The snow is very bad this time. I had things to do outside, so I went out this morning and since I was out I popped into a supermarket for some quick shopping. When I was back home about 3 hours later, this is what I saw. It had snowed with such an angle that my door was completely covered with snow. As I couldn't find a place to put the bags in my hand, I had to open the door and as I did so, the snow wall collapsed on the entrance of the house. I had to show away the snow in the house with a shovel. All day I had to throw out the snow so that the it doesn't build up again. I guess that the more I complain about the snow, it is being more annoying for me... but I can't lie, I'm fed up.
Today I want to share a new wallet that I finished. In my post a couple of day's ago I spoke about angel's a lot, so my new wallet turned out to be...

Bu akşam internette gezinirken nereyi açsam karşıma çok güzel, sevimli melekler çıktı. Bu kadar melek görme tesadüfün den sonra, benim de aklıma yıllar itibariyle beğenip oradan buradan toparladığım meleklerimi toplumla tanıştırmak geldi. 10-15 sene kadar önce İngiltere de bir "Garden Center" (=Bahçe merkezi) gezerken gördüğüm  melek bu (hayatımda gördüğüm ilk şirin melek aksesuarı buydu sanırım). Gördüm, fiyatına baktım-pahallı..., içimdeki konuşmalar...
- böyle bir para verilmez ki bir bebeğe,
+ güzelmiş ama,
- olurmu yaaa, ne lüzumsuz bir masraf,
+ ama ama ammaaa....
- koskocaman kadın hala bebek mi alacaksın?
+ Nasılda güzellll.... bari en küçük boyunu alayım...
- en küçük boyunu alacağına 2 pound fazla ver orta boyunu al...
......
Tabiiki en sonunda "şeytana" uydum ve merkez kapanma aşamasına gelipte bizi oradan atmaya niyetlendikleri sırada koşarak gidip ENNN büyük boy "meleği" aldım. Ama iyi ki almışım, yıllar geçti hala bana çok keyif veriyor varlığı... işte kendileri...

Tonight while I was surfing the internet whatever place I opened I came across some cute angels. After this coincidence of coming across these angels I decided to introduce all the angels that I have collected over the years.  This is an angel that I saw 10-15 years ago, while I was wandering around in a Garden center in the UK (I think it was the first cute angel accessory that I saw). I saw it, looked at it's price-expensive..., thoughts inside of me....
- It's not appropriate to pay this much to a doll,
+ But It's beautifull,
- That is not OK, what an unnecessary expence...
+ But but buttt....
-  you're a grown up woman now, are you still going to buy a toy?
+ It's so beautifull... maybe I should get the smallest size...
- Instead of getting the smallest size pay 2 pounds extra and get the middle size...
......

Of coarse in the end I obeyed the "devil" and when the center was closing down and they were intending to throw us out, I rushed to the shop and bought the biggest "angel". I'm so gald that I did so, year's have passed and I'm still very happy with it's existence.... here she is....

Ve sonra gerisi geldi... yine İngiltere ve yine bir garden center...

And it continiued... UK again and from another garden center...

Sonra Türkiye, Tepe Home... Bunlardan üç tane almıştım zamanında... vantuzlu askılarla cam kapılara asmıştım... düşüp kırıldılar, elimde sadece tek kanadı kırık bu tombik melek kaldı...

Following Turkey, Tepe home... at the time I had bought three of them... I hung them on glass door's with suction hangers... they fell and broke, I have only one chubby angel with a broken wing left...
